Thanks to the efforts of DSS workers, GAL, and many volunteers, Friday August 4th was a success. Walmart and Academy Sports allowed us to setup our tables and hand out gift cards to the families that participated. We had around 83% participation
Donations were very generous and our supporters gave roughly $13,000 that will help replenish our funds. We also received $619.00 on site cash donations thanks to the Easley Fire Department fire truck display, and donation buckets on site at our tables.
The families that participated were very thankful for this opportunity to purchase items needed by their chlidren with the gift cards they received. Thanks again to Walmart and Academy Sports for your donation and allowing us to setup at their stores.
New clothing and shoes for 177 children!

Your generous donations made it possible for 177 children to purchase clothing and shoes for the up coming school year. The case workers and volunteers pictured above were distributing vouchers from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm on July 21. Additional volunteers were at Rack Room Shoes.

Over 200 supporters attended the 7th annual Oyster Roast!
Whiskey's Rhythm supported the event with great music and an upbeat atmosphere.
The silent auction was a success and we are very thankful to our sponsors and
attendees who once again helped replenish our finances so we can continue to help children in the care of Foster homes and the Guardian ad Litem program.
